REQUIRED For Replacement labeled Engines, Long Blocks, and short blocks sold within the U.S. and U.S. Territories the engine core (i.e. old engine) that is removed MUST be returned to your selling Caterpillar dealer, so that they can return to Caterpillar OR destroy, as required by law. Proof of return or destruction will then be provided to the EPA and or California ARB if required. See PELJ1301 for additional details.
The Complete Engine Arrangement integrates the engine core with an advanced electronics group to manage combustion, power delivery, and emission control as a single working unit. The arrangement brings together mechanical operation and electronic control to regulate fuel flow, air handling, and output response during operation. Electronic control elements continuously adjust operating parameters to align engine behavior with emission requirements while keeping performance consistent.
Attributes:
• Enables smoother interaction between control and power elements.
• Controls operating behavior during start, run, and shutdown phases.
• Combines power generation and emission regulation into one working system.
Applications:
The Complete Engine Arrangement is used as the primary engine system where integrated power generation and emission-regulated operation are required through coordinated mechanical and electronic control.
