The Camshaft Valve Lifter transfers the camshaft’s rotational motion to the engine's valves. This lifter rides on the camshaft’s lobes, which push it upward and, in turn, moves the engine’s push rods, and rocker arms, or directly operates the valves themselves, depending on the engine. It ensures that the timing of the valves' opening and closing is accurately controlled. As the camshaft rotates, the cam lobes push against the lifter, causing it to move. This upward movement is translated into the opening of the engine's intake or exhaust valves, allowing for the proper timing of air and fuel intake, as well as exhaust gas expulsion.
